One nature guide. One accidental forest fire. And one steamy investigator hot on her tail.

Life would be easy for Jen Kulak if she hadn’t just burned down the forest she depends upon for her business’s wilderness adventures. It would be even easier if she hadn’t accidentally fallen head over heels for the fire investigator tracking her every move.

When the pressure on Jen heats up will she run like she has in the past? Or will she find the strength to fight the accusations that could cost her everything, including her own happily ever after?

Rum and Raindrops A Blueberry Springs Sweet Romance eBook Jean Oram

I really like Jean Oram's style. Her books are easy to read, easy to get lost in someone else's world and troubles. This one was no different. I immediately liked Jen and Rob.

Jen is a bit of a mess. She doesn't trust anyone, and yet she's still this likable person. You can feel the hope she still has that she will one day find something better than what her history tells her is life. She struggles to stay in Blueberry Springs when everything starts to fall apart. It feels like home, but she feels responsible for the fire. She's certain she didn't start it, but she figures everyone else thinks she did.

Rob is just an all around good guy. He makes you smile in spite of yourself. He's serious about his job though and he knows getting involved with Jen would make things even worse. His heart doesn't quite listen though. The two of them investigate the fire and things just get worse and worse.

The ending to this one was realistic and worth the wait.

I give Rum & Raindrops a solid 4.

1-5 scale and what it means:
1: I couldn’t even finish it / just plain bad
2: I hope I didn’t pay for this / disappointing
3: I didn’t hate it, but it was still missing something / forgettable but inoffensive
3.5: On the line between good and ok / like, not love
4: Solid mind candy / worth reading
4.5: So very close to perfection! / must read
5: I could not put it down and I’m still thinking about it! / a true treasure

Rum and Raindrops A Blueberry Springs Sweet Romance eBook Jean Oram Reviews

Like "Champagne..." I absolutely loved this book. The characters are lovable and fun, the love story warm and believable, and the humor adds just the right touch to a wonderful book. Can't wait to read "Whisky" and everything to follow. Thanks Jean!
Once again Jean Oram took me through tons of twist and turns through out this book. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. The only problem that I see is now I am once again having to wait for the next book. Hope it will be soon, need my Blueberry Spring fixes. I would love to live there.
I just finished reading Rum and Raindrops and I could hardly wait to write a review. Jean Oram had me laughing out loud! This book is full of sweet love, friendship, personal growth, finding oneself and learning to trust in others. If I could, I would move to the small town of Blueberry Springs.
A very good book. The character's Rob and Jen had chemistry.Jen is a nature guide.Rob is a forest fire investigator. The plot was good. The ending was very good. I received a copy for my honest review. I also bought the book.
All the Blueberry Springs Chick Lit books are fun, light reading and delightful. I enjoyed Rum and Raindrops because it continued with a character met in another book. I like series so I can follow the ups and downs of the characters lives, see how past characters are doing, and try to figure out who will be next to find love. I recommend this book and the others in the series for anyone who wants to get away to a nice town, good friends, romance and love.
Book 3 of the series is just as good as the first 2. Really a must read. Kept me guessing who was at fault until the end. Jean did a wonderful job again with her Blueberry Springs series. I can't wait for the next book to come out.. 5 Stars Jean!!!!
This is my favorite of all 3 books in this series....I love Jen and Rob' s story I was so hooked from the beginning. I wanted to reach in the book and slap them a few times...I laughed, I cried but mainly praying and turning the next page, hoping it ended the way I'd hope. Author Jean Oram is definitely an author to look out for. She knows how to grab you into her stories and make you feel like you're a part of it.....I love that an author can do that to you. That right there, should tell you, you're dealing with a great writer, and your in for one Hell of a ride!!! A definite 5 star....
